The team will have practices as scheduled below: 

Tuesdays at CSF from 7:30 until 9:00 pm....This will be our regular practice throughout the fall session until Nov. 11, 2008.

Thursdays at ETA from 3:30 until 5:00 pm.....This will be our regular practice throughout the fall session until Nov. 13, 2008

Kevin Bovett of the NY Red Bulls will conduct team training sessions at both practices.

We want the players to have a good time at practices.  The team should always come to practice with a size 4 ball, shinguards and water to drink.  The boys should wear cleats to practice.  Please make sure their laces are tied when you drop them at practice. Players should not wear jewelry or watches to the field.

The coaches have other committments and are on tight schedules-please be prompt.  The parent must be sure that the coach acknowledges both the player’s arrival and pick-up.  Please help us to keep your child safe.

     The game schedule appears below.  Please check the NCSA website the night before each game for schedule changes.  Use the link in the side column to review the schedule and to obtain directions to the field.  Simply click on the name of the field listed in the schedule and directions will be posted.

     The boys should wear their blue jerseys and pack the white.  The jerseys should be tucked inside their shorts.  Soccer boots are required and no other shoes can be subsituted.  The boots need to be tightly laced so that they will stay tied for the duration of the game.  "Sweetspots" are available for purchase if you choose.  They will keep the laces tied effectively.  The boys must wear shin guards covered with black socks.  No jewelry of any kind can be worn on the field.  Dress for the weather.  The boys can wear coats or rain ponchos on the sideline.  Black "Under Armour" or the like can be worn under the uniforms.  Gloves can be worn on the field.  The boys are allowed to keep an umbrella on the sideline.

     Please be sure to hydrate the boys prior to the game, preferably with 24 to 32 ounces of water over a 90 minute period.  They should ALWAYS bring water to drink.  Mark their names on the container.  Avoid fried foods and red meat the day before/of a game.  Snacks should be held until after the game.

 The league (NCSA), the club and our township all prohibit smoking, alcoholic bevereges and pets anywhere in sight of the pitch.  Please cooperate.  Enthusiastic support of the team is encouraged.  There is ABSOLUTELY NO COACHING BY PARENTS.  Parents and coaches can be vocal but not intimidating.  Substitute "Win the ball" for "Beat him, beat him".  Please allow enough room between the field and your vantage point for the flagman to move unimpeded.  The referee makes all the calls and they do not want or require any help from the spectators.  Referees are NOT REQUIRED to offer an explanation of the calls.  Spectators should not ask for any clarification.  The league needs to retain referees and toward that end have made the coaches responsible for their spectators.  Coaches can be red carded without warning if control is not maintained.  Practically speaking, you are responsible for your behavior on the sideline.  It has always been outstanding.  Thank you!
