Game Cancellations

Please check our team homepage to see if games will be cancelled due to weather.  I will not be using OneCall Now or email to communicate if our games are going to be cancelled to due weather.  Please check the site 3-4 hours before gametime.

Uniform

Our uniform consists of Blue and/or White Jersey, Diadora’s Valido jersey shorts and solid black socks (any make).  Jerseys and shorts were handled by Eski’s but you have to purchase the socks separately.  Our main jersey color is Mahwah Blue so always show up at the field in Blue.  Our conflict jersey is white.  We do not train in our uniforms.  Players shall bring BOTH jerseys to all games (blue and white), black shorts, solid black socks high enough to cover the shin guards, shin guards that cover a substantial portion of the player’s lower leg (a few referees appear to frown on very small shin guards), and suitable cleats.

Game Day Prep

Players shall arrive no later than 30 minutes prior to game time (schedule times are kickoff times; we will need warm-up and player checking with the referees prior to kickoff).  The coach or Team Manager will arrive at the field 45 minutes prior to game time. 

Pregame meals (day of the game) should be light.  Player should drink beforehand, as well.  In addition, players should bring water and a sports drink.  Water is better, particularly during games.  They shall take home or throw away whatever they bring to the field--nothing should remain behind (for Coaches or Manager to pick up).

Coach Dr. Tim Brabston will have a medical bag for first aid at all games.
